Read moreThe new hotel bookings figures are being released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), which is one of the country’s largest employers.

The ABS announced a new peak occupancy measure earlier this year and has also increased its guest bookers data by five per cent over the past two years.

The bureau is also launching an online portal, hotel bookers and bookings, which will allow users to view the latest information on hotel occupancy.ABS chief economist, David White, said the agency had to increase the data collection to meet demand and to provide better information.

“In some areas, the increase in data collection has been a real positive,” Mr White said.

“We’re seeing the number of guests increased, the occupancy of hotel rooms increased.”

Our data is more reliable, more reliable and more accurate.

“But we’re also making sure that our data is also accessible to the public, so if we’re making some changes, people can access the data.”

Mr White said the ABS was also looking to make changes to its hotel booker and booking data.

“At the moment, we have a couple of different types of data that we’re putting together,” he said.

“In a couple cases, there are different ways of looking at hotel booking data, so we’ll be looking at that.”

The ABS has been working with the Australian Hotel and Resorts Association (AHA) to improve the information that hotels provide to the bureau.AHA president Paul Cottam said the organisation had been working to improve hotel book rates in recent years.

“The ABS is always looking at ways to make our data more accurate, more up-to-date and more consistent,” Mr Cottan said.

The Australian Bureau Of Statistics (ABC) is Australia’s government statistician and has a duty of care to the community.
