The short answer is to buy the room, and it’s not cheap.
But here’s how to do it in Canada.
The Canadian Hotel & Resort Association has been in the business of renting out rooms since 1981, so it’s an industry that’s had its fair share of ups and downs over the years.
The association says the number of hotel rooms in Canada has declined by more than half in the past 15 years, with a net loss of almost $50 billion.
But the number still exceeds all other OECD countries.
There are still hotels around, but the competition is getting tougher and the competition has also gotten tougher, says David Scharf, executive director of the Canadian Hotel Association.
“We’re starting to see the cost of living being out of control and hotels are not being competitive in that space,” he said.
It’s a competitive environment for hotel rooms, he said, and hotels have to be able to compete and offer a lot of different packages.
For example, one of the biggest hotels in Toronto offers a room for $800 per night, while a single-night hotel can set you back $1,800.
In many cases, the average price for a single night is $1.40, he says.
“And that is something that a lot hoteliers are starting to do, which is a little bit to the right of where they should be,” Scharf said.
For the average person, that’s about $500.
So while it may seem a bit expensive, Scharf says it’s definitely worth it.
“The average cost of a night is a bit lower than the average cost for a room in any other hotel,” he says, adding that most people would spend more money on a hotel room than on a bed in a motel.
But Scharf warns that hotels are a different beast from motels in many ways.
“When you’re looking at the average room, you’re not looking at a room that’s in a lot more rooms than you’re used to, which I think is a huge advantage for hotels,” he adds.
Hotel rooms, by the way, are still more expensive than the cost for single-room hotels, according to the Hotel Industry Association of Canada.
“It’s definitely not as cheap as it used to be,” he noted.
“That’s what you’ll find if you look at the occupancy rates for rooms versus the occupancy rate for rooms.”
But it’s a different story when you compare the average occupancy rate of a hotel to the average rate of single-bedrooms.
“In general, if you’re buying a hotel, you should be looking at an occupancy rate that is comparable to a room rate,” Schafer said.
“But if you don’t have a room and you’re using your room for your night, then it’s actually quite a different price to use.”
For some people, it may even be cheaper to rent out their room for two nights than it is to rent a hotel for two weeks, Schafer noted.
It may be more efficient to rent your room to someone else who needs a place to stay for the night, but not a person who needs to stay there for two months.
That’s the way it’s always been, says Ryan Horsfall, a spokesperson for the American Hotel Association, which represents hotel industry players.
You should be able get a comparable rate, and if you need two nights in your room you can rent one night, you don
